Operation Jenda is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization. Our mission is to bring positive energy, self-esteem, and purpose to people’s lives. Promoting, encouraging, and empowering the next generation of philanthropists through humanitarian aid.
Operation Jenda is an extraordinary project to build schools and libraries for the underprivileged children in third world countries. It serves as a collaborative model to empower extraordinary children in the U.S. to fast track their philanthropic potential.
Miss Alison Jenda Khut is an extraordinary 4-year-old child whose Cambodian name is Jenda, which means heart. Her father is a Cambodian genocide survivor, and her mother is a Laotian refugee. Her family owns Mekong Bistro in Portland Oregon, an authentic Cambodian and Laotian restaurant. Her paternal grandfather was murdered by the Khmer Rouge. Her maternal grandfather was a foot soldier fighting on the side of the U.S. in the Vietnam war along the border of Lao and Vietnam.
Jenda, aka Miss Alison, is precocious and extremely talented. Her philanthropic potential has been influenced by her parents' efforts to give back to their communities. Her maturity and her ability to understand the needs of other less fortunate children are profoundly advanced.
Jenda's parents, family, and family's network are her supporters. Operation Jenda is a 501c charitable organization and therefore all proceeds are tax-deductible. Please donate online preferably on Gofundme, Venmo, PayPal or on our website: http://www.operationjenda.org. Otherwise please make checks payable to Operation Jenda and mail to 8200 NE Siskiyou Street Suite 107, Portland OR 97220.
(Past projects) 2022
Raised $30,000 and built the first school library for the children at Doung Het elementary school in Kratie Province of Cambodia.
Raised $50,000 in funds to build Phoudonthan Elementary School in the rural village of Maung Sing, Laos.
Current project 2023
Operation Jenda is currently raising funds to build a two classroom annex for PulangBato Elementary in Pulang Bato village, Phillipines.
Operation Jenda is excited to share a new project to build a two-classroom annex for Pulang Bato Elementary School in the village of Pulang Bato. Pulang Bato is located about two hours west of Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, in the Philippines.
The school teaches kindergarden through 6th grade. The 5th and 6th grade students are currently using a storeroom for their classroom.
With these two new classrooms, the school can extend education to 7th and 8th grade levels to accomodate older children that still want to continue their education.
These classroom will make a huge difference for the kids in the area, giving them a safe and supportive place to learn and grow.
As you can imagine, having the right school infrastructure is essential for students to get the best education.
Unfortunately, the village of Pulang Bato does not have the necessary school resources they need , which is why we’re hoping to change that. This project is all about giving these kids the chance to reach their full potential, and we’re really excited about what it can do for the community.

New School Library in Kratie, Cambodia
Last year Operation Jenda, OJ for short, built a library for the Cambodian children at Doung Het elementary school in the Kratie Province of Cambodia. We raised the $30,000 needed to build the library by holding fundraising events throughout the year. The school is staffed with volunteers and they teach out of the goodness of their hearts.
Because of generous donations from people like you, we were able to make a reality of building a new library building to help educate the children in need.
Orphanage in Svay Sisophon, Cambodia
My awesome Operation Jenda family and friends who was able to travel with me over 7,500 miles away from home helped me delivered rice, formula, fish sauce, new bunk beds and mattresses ….lots of staples to the Orphanage in Svay Sisophon Cambodia. Biggest gratitude to all donors and supporters near and far who helped me made this happen. There isn’t enough words to express my utmost gratitude to all!! YOU’VE touched so many childrens lives!
Operation Jenda’s current project is to build a school in Muang Sing, Luang Namtha, Laos. This new school will house five classrooms and will cost $50,000 to build. It will serve over 250 students from Maung Sing and all the surrounding villages. 100% of proceeds goes towards building this school. We are currently at 50% which is a little over $25,000 out of our goal of $50,000.
Maung Sing is located in Nortwestern Laos and is a small town with many tribal minority groups such as Lumien, Ahka, Tai Lue, Hmong, Yao, Tai Dam, Tai Neau and Meo. Maung Sing is tucked between the high mountains of Laos and the region is rich and pure with cultural heritages.
Lets help raise the percentage so we can provide the children who attend Phoudonthan Elementary. Please find it in your hearts to support and donate to this project. On behalf of the children from Laos and the Operation Jenda team, thank you in advance.
Blessings to All!
Every child deserves a chance for education!
